One of my hidden talents seems to be finding rental properties in the greater Boston area.
From a gorgeous garden-level one bedroom in the North End, to a sprawling two-story Southie pad in the heart of Andrew square, to a positively humungous duplex in Medford-- I've had quite a few strokes of luck while scouring Craigslist for housing over the past few years.
Just about three years ago, I hit the apartment jackpot once again, and found our current digs in Dorchester. It's a big, old house-- with tons of charm and even more space. The biggest kicker was the secluded back yard. It's been our urban oasis-- and Matty has turned it into a garden packed with herbs, veggies and flowers; each year's harvest more bountiful than the last.
This summer has been no exception, and I'm beyond happy to share so many of these beautiful, quiet moments. This may have been our last summer here-- but this space will be in my heart forever.
